Creed is the distillation of decades of the Sharp Shooters breeding program, having achieved his AKC CH and NAVHDA VC titles at a young age. His sire, Tango, was a top producing sire in the 2000s and is a son of the influential German import KS Orson vom Pöttsiepen, while his dam, Tris, is out of the very successful Chappie x Sonic cross that has produced many NAVHDA Breeder Awards.

Our Amber is one of the last females still producing pups out of the well known sire Cash from Sharp Shooters, the all time top producer of VCs and NAVHDA Breeder Awards across all breeds. Amber's dam is descended on top and bottom from both HOF Trekker v Grunbaum and German import DC AFC Bodo vom Waldrand MH with a splash of HOF Rawhides Clown as well.

Our first breeding of this pairing in 2022 produced nine healthy puppies and all six that ran in the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test attained Prize I scores, earning the litter a Natural Ability Breeder Award. We expect this breeding will again produce puppies with high drive, biddability and exceptional conformation.

Many thanks to the families of our Creed x Amber pups that ran their pup in the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test in 2022-2023. Our matriarch Maggie turned 14 years old the other day-- hard to believe it! 🎂🎁

In her field career she finished AKC Senior Hunter, passed the NAVHDA Utility Test and was 2013 Amateur Pointing Dog of the Year at our local Green Valley Hunting and Retriever Club. She was bred twice to the well-known sire IntCH VC Sharp Shooters Man In Black MH and six of their puppies passed the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test. We kept two puppies from their breedings, Amber and Cora, who have both gone on to produce great results for us. We see her sweet and enthusiastic personality live on every day in her grandchildren!

Most important of all are all the great experiences and memories we have had of hunting and adventuring all over the West. Maggie truly is a soul hunter that never quits. We love her to pieces and hope she's around for many more years!
