It's probably about time I post!

This year has been super busy, Pre School and Aupairing jobs, ECD studies and LOADS of babysitting and house/pet sitting! Even Facepainting....

However, I haven't posted about anything!

So I just wanted to reassure everyone, I am still on the go and available for HOUSE /PET SITTING 😁🙏.
And babysitting of course!

Hey everyone!

So 2021 started off with a bang!
Super busy, lots of change, and huge steps forward!

I am now an Intern at Kloof Pre Primary School 😁
I am a student at Caversham Education Institute, studying ECD (Early Childhood Development)
And I Aupair for a lovely family in the afternoons.

I am still looking for a more permanent Au pair job for the afternoons.
I work at a preschool in Kloof from 7am till 13h00 pm. Monday to Friday.

So the aupair position I'm looking for can be from after 13h00 till 5pm.

My experience and a bit about me:
I am 27 years of age.
I am from the upper highway area.
I do have my own transport.
I absolutely love working with /being with kiddies!

10 years child care experience.
7 years experience swim coaching ages 3 months to 13 years, PLUS ran the lift club for kids swim groups from preschools.
Basic first aid and CPR trained.
4 years Preschool teaching /assisting

I am studying Early Childhood Development this year, and working in a well known preschool.

Your children, I can promise you, will be cared for as if they were my own, 🏡❤️

I babysat these two absolute cuties for the first time over the weekend!
Happy kiddies and happy parents! Yay!

Two afternoons a week, I aupair for a special family friend of ours.
This precious girl decided the week before last that she wanted to come to my house (with moms permission) after I fetched her from school.

And this is what we got up to! 💕😁🍪🍴
We got stuck into my cupcake decorations box as you can see!
A few hours and fifty something buscuits later, she went home with a tub full of her super funky cookies 😉

So much changed during this Lockdown!
I know for so very many people it did in sk many different ways.
It was challenging, exhausting, sad. It was so many things.
So many lost their jobs and their lifestyles all changed!

I was one of those forced to make some major changes to get by. Like stop swimming.
I had been a swimming teacher at Set to Swim for about 7 years and I loved my job and all my students!
It was heartbreaking to have to stop and not be able to teach all the kids I had worked so hard with for so long, bonded with, and some I watched grow in leaps and bounds and grew so close to.

However, Alot of good came through all the change too. In different ways too.
Although alot changed so much, I was fortunate to have some great opportunities come up that started with some swimming clients from before.

Now I am home tutoring and teaching children in their own homes as well as part time aupairing.
I am blessed with my preschool teaching experience from before!

I am so extremely grateful for the support I have had and all the encouragement from so many people. From swimming clients, to friends, family and more!

When you learn that your efforts are appreciated,
your presence makes a difference in someone's life, especially a little someone, it fills your heart with joy and love and it is the most rewarding thing!
My students are not the only students.
I have learnt and will forever be learning from them too and any experience that comes my way.

A massive Thank You to everyone who encouraged me, who has supported me for what I do and who I am and believed in me.
My heart drives me.

I spent 2 weeks with these cuties over January.
6 cuties to be exact.

Yes, I spent most of my time outside with the doggies! Thank goodness for the lovely weather!

A beautiful home and family. Happy that their fur babies were happy. It was a long time away so I sent plenty pictures and updates.

The little doggies were allowed to sleep in bed with me, yay!
