🐱 Feline Hypertension 🐱

Pets age around seven times faster than humans and as they do, they become more susceptible to a variety of health conditions.

At Chapelfield Vets we offer a comprehensive medical MOT called a Wellness Screening that can detect health issues and help to give you peace of mind about your pet’s health and wellbeing. πŸ’š

Included in this screening is blood pressure checking, a cuff is placed around a leg or tail and this can help us identify high blood pressure, known as hypertension. Feline Hypertension is a silent illness with very few clinical signs!

Registered Veterinary Nurse Fae is one of our Feline Hypertension Ambassadors and she likes to check her own cats regularly. Here she is with Finkley the SphynxπŸ’š

If you’d like to learn more about what the Wellness Screenings include then please call your local Chapelfield branch or check out our website.

Is your Cat Microchipped? 🐾🐱

From 10th June 2024, it will be compulsory for all domestic cats to be microchipped, even indoor cats! If they are already microchipped, check that their details are correct.
If you are unsure if your cat is microchipped, pop in to your local Chapelfield Vets and ask one of our lovely staff to scan your pet!

πŸ›œ Microchipping your cat gives them the best chance of being identified if they are lost or stolen.

🩷Our Pet Health Club includes a free microchip as well as other great benefits and discounts!

For all those not on the Pet Health Club, we are offering Β£10 off microchipping.

πŸ“ž If you need to book your pet in to be microchipped, call your local Chapelfield Veterinary Practice.
