* Vomiting and Diarrhoea in Dogs *
We have seen an increase in cases of dogs presenting with vomiting and Diarrhoea recently. We would advise that if your dogs have those symptoms, you do not walk them in public areas to prevent possible spread to other animals and call us for advice if you are concerned.

The cat is a a black, entire, older male that is unfortunately not microchipped.
Please contact us if you think the cat may be yours or have information that could help identify the owner.

We have had a little change around in reception, and now have a designated cat waiting area! This is to keep our feline friends separate from dogs to minimise stress as much as possible. There is blankets provided in the basket to cover cat carriers as well as some calming spray which can be sprayed on to the blankets.

Please could we ask you to keep your dogs on a lead and away from this area. Thank you 🐱💛

Spay? Neuter? Fixing? Being done?

Whatever you call it, it is the most responsible thing you can do for your cat. Here’s why ⏬

😺 Helps protect your cat against diseases and some cancers
😺 Protects female cats against risks that come with pregnancy
😺 Reduces the chances of male cats ‘spraying’, as this is something unneutered cats do to mark their scent to attract potential suitors.

If you have any questions about this for your cat, please give us a call or ask us the next time you are in.

10th June 2024 is the deadline ⌛👀

Microchipping gives you the best chance of a lost/stolen pet being identified and returned to you.

Get in touch today and get your cat booked in, it takes 5 minutes and costs £14… which is cheaper than a £500 fine!

They might not be as obvious with it as dogs, but cats have their ways of showing their love ⏬

💗 If your cat’s tail is upright, they are content and safe and if it has a quiver at the top… this means you have a very happy cat!
💗 Purring is usually a sign that your cat is happy and content, but it can have other meanings such as feeling nervous at the vets
💗 Giving you a cheeky cheek rub or a gentle head-butt, they are marking their scent on you, and is a way they build up bonds with other animals.
💗 And finally… rolling over allowing you to rub their belly is the ultimate sign of trust and love!

Let us know if you spot any of the above signs in your cat… photos are always welcome 😽
