When founder of Friends of Animal Rescue, Betsy Goldman, moved back to the city of her long ago childhood-Raleigh, NC-she realized "Hey-NY isn't the only state amongst the 50 where homeless pets are so in need. North Carolina needs help now!" Thus FOAR NC was formed-we are slowly but surely buidling, fundraising and saving lives.
