The answer is YES! Unfortunately this week we saw the traumatic injuries and sad result that this can cause. With summer just beginning and many people traveling more with their pets, please take the easy necessary precautions to prevent a tragedy.

- RESTRAIN your pet in the backseat with a safety restraint harness or dog car seat.
- DO NOT let them hang out window. Injury from rocks and other objects are possible.
- Crate them.
- NEVER put them loose in the bed of a truck.
- DO NOT let them ride on your lap with window open.
- If windows must be open, open only a small amount.

With this said PLEASE have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.
We will be CLOSED Saturday the 25th and Monday the 27th.

Jada is another one of our part time receptionist who works as a vet assistant in the back. She has got to be one of the fastest workers we’ve ever seen! In the blink of an eye she’ll have a million tasks done at once. She makes everything roll quickly but smoothly. Jada is a big part of our hospital. We don’t know what we’d do without her and love her so much❤️ Jada has been here for 9 months and hopefully forever.

Rachel is our youngest team members. She has been at Stonehenge for about 9 months. She is another one of our part time receptionists but works vet assistant in the back. Rachel is very hard working and loves a challenge. She’s also always looking to learn new things and move up in anyway possible. Any opportunity is a good opportunity and a learning lesson for her❤️

Kelly has been a receptionist for over 10 years. She is coming up on 4 years here at Stonehenge. Kelly is one of the funniest people you will meet. She loves to have a laugh with all of us and our clients. She will not hesitate to get up and greet your little fur babies. She’s so hard working and smart. Everyone walks out with a smile after talking with her❤️

Cat has been a receptionists for 2 years and has been at Stonehenge for about 9 months. At Stonehenge she is a part time receptionist and works as a vet assistant in the back. She pays attention to every detail to make sure everything goes smoothly for our clients and staff. We’ve never seen someone so smart and good at their job. She cares so much about everyone who comes in and out of our hospital. It is her goal to make sure our clients are comfortable and satisfied. ❤️

This past week we’ve celebrated our wonderful receptionists📞🤍 We appreciate everything they do! All of our receptionist are hard working and amazing at their jobs. Sue Lynn has been a part of Stonehenge for 32 years! She has watched this hospital grow into the amazing place it is. She is so sweet and caring. She always does everything in her power to make sure your pet is taken care of. Our clients love talking with her. Sue Lynn loves all animals but if here at Stonehenge but she is probably the biggest cat lover😊 We are so grateful for Sue Lynn and all that she does! ❤️

Donna has been a receptionist here at Stonehenge for 13 years! She knows the ins and outs of everything up front. She’s so hard working and determined. Her smile lights up the room. She has an amazing memory and the greatest stories to tell. We love her so much and all of the hard work she does as a receptionists❤️

Another Happy Ending thanks to the fact she was microchipped. Please get your pets chipped in case the grand escape happens and you will have a Happy Ending too! MOST IMPORTANTLY have the chip registered to the correct person with current contact information. If you move or change phone numbers etc. Update that immediately with the chip company. we love to see Happy Tails!

Mishka, a terrier mix, had run off from her home in San Diego, and a shelter found her roaming the streets in suburban Detroit last week.

Here is a shoutout to Angela Wright during Groomer’s Appreciation Month! 🐾🛁

Angela has been grooming for 24 years and has been our one and only groomer for 9 years! She is so wonderful inside and out. We absolutely love her and the incredible work she does. We appreciate everything she does at Stonehenge and couldn’t ask for anyone else. Thank you for keeping our pets beautiful and clean❤️ Happy Groomer’s Appreciation Month to all the groomers out there, especially our Angela😊

Here is a happy birthday to Cat. Her birthday was this past Saturday❤️🎂🎉

Cat is one of our vet assistants and receptionists. She is the sweetest person you’d ever meet. We all love her so much. Her big smiles, kindness, sweet voice, and passion makes work so much better than it already is. She is so incredible and outstanding. She really brings out the best in everyone. We hope your birthday was great we appreciate you more than you know😁

Dr Howell is one of the three doctors we have here at Stonehenge. She is absolutely amazing and so incredibly smart. In fact she was the top in her class during school. Everyone loves her so much.
