☀️🐾It’s a new day for HOPE!❤️🙏🏻

We’ve received a ton of messages across platforms asking for an update on Hope, the sweet pocket pitty who was dumped yesterday. After bringing her to the vet and getting her settled comfortably in a kennel, I stayed awake until 4 AM, too worried to sleep. I kept check on her and trying to figure out the best way to help her, and it kept me from getting any rest. 😒

After finally dozing off, I was so relieved to wake up and see her tail wagging and her sweet face this morning. She made it through the night, ate some soft food, went for a short walk, and pooped! This is a huge win, as we’re hoping she can pass the pieces of splintered chicken bones from her belly. If not, she may need surgery within a week to remove the large fragments that haven’t passed and are pressing against her organs. 💔

After lots of love, kisses, and a little exploring, she’s resting comfortably back in her kennel. Let’s keep sending all the positive vibes for Miss Hope — today is her new beginning! ☀️🐾
