Young Hulk has been with us for over 320 days, at just 1 year old, that's almost all his life in a shelter. This lovable pup has grown up in the shelter, patiently waiting for his forever home and people.

Newton came to Sydney Dogs & Cats Home as a scared solo kitten in January. He went into foster care but after a few days, Vanessa his foster carer noticed something was wrong with his back legs.

X-rays revealed some old injuries - a displaced femoral neck fracture and a slight fracture in his left hip. The cause of Newton's injury was unknown but it was suspected he fell from a height or was stepped on. 😢

The prognosis wasn't good for poor Newton, but the vet team decided to attempt surgery to see if it would make a difference and give him a chance.

Though the surgery was tough, Vanessa never left his side. Now, Newton is back on his paws and playing with his cat pals. With Vanessa, he can conquer anything! She has also decided to adopt him, so he gets to continue playing with his cat friends and spend his days with people who love him!

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing supporters, Newton found more than just medical care. He found a forever home filled with love and companionship.

But there are so many more pets just like Newton, facing uncertain futures and needing urgent help.

🐾 We're almost at $25,000! 🎉 Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.

Senior boy Benji came to us with a stomach bug due to Giardia, kidney issues, a heart murmur, and severe dental issues that were causing him pain and discomfort. It was because of the generosity and support from our community that we were able to transform Benji's hurt into healing. ❤️✨

After receiving treatment for his upset stomach, we stabilized his age-related kidney issues and he underwent two intensive surgeries to extract his teeth. Benji is now recovered and enjoying his time in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever home to spend his golden years. 🏡🐾
