Our Guillard's F/2 Fertilizer is now retailing at Specialised Aquatics!

Produced based on the original Guillard’s 1975 F/2 Formula, this fertilizer contains all the necessary nutrients, trace elements and vitamins required for the successful cultivation of phytoplankton.

In addition, this fertilizer is completely silicate-free, which significantly minimizes the growth of diatoms, promoting a cleaner and more efficient culture environment.

250ml of fertilizer produces 250L of phytoplankton.

Application: Apply 1ml of fertilizer per liter of culture volume. Apply only at the start of the culture period.

Storage: Cool and dry place. For a prolonged shelf life, keep refrigerated.

Live rotifers are an important component in marine ecosystems, where they aid in the disintegration of organic waste, as well as ingestion of cyanobacteria and diatoms.

In addition, live rotifers are a nutritious food source for small fish, picky eaters (e.g. dragonets, seahorses), marine fry, corals, and filter feeders (e.g. feather dusters, bivalves).

Their ability to proliferate quickly makes them a sustainable source of live feed, and a great addition as clean-up crews to your tank and refugium.

Zoop Aqua's Live Rotifers are indoor-cultivated and enriched with phytoplankton.

Switch off return pump and protein skimmer for 10 minutes when dosing.

Isochrysis galbana is a premium microalgae highly regarded for its robust nutritional profile, particularly omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), namely DHA and EPA, as well as a protein content of 50-56%. In addition to high levels of fucoxanthin and other natural carotenoids, the lack of a rigid cell wall offers an easily digestible diet for corals and filter feeders such as clams and crustaceans, while also providing antioxidant protection against oxidative stress.
