Here are some funny cat laws: your cat can't drink beer in Natchez, Mississippi, and in Montana, cats have to wear bells on their collars so birds know they're coming.

Did you know that during a dental exam of your horse, we can check for any loose, cracked or broken teeth, as well as infected gums? Also, it's important to look for teeth with sharp points that make normal chewing difficult.

According to veterinarians, it can be difficult to tell if your pet cat is sick because cats are good at not showing symptoms of illness or injury. Does your pet bird sit for prolonged stretches of time with its wings fully outstretched? This could be a sign of respiratory illness. Ruffling its feathers for long periods is also a behavior that can reveal a deeper health problem for your bird.

A rumor exists that warm ears and a dry nose are signs that a cat is sick. Before you rush your cat into the office, consider where and how they were just lying. Sometimes, it's nothing more than a case of your cat curled up in a patch of sunlight for the afternoon.

The teeth of rabbits are always growing. Their teeth grow between 1 mm and 5mm each week. As a result overgrown teeth can develop. Do not trim your rabbit’s teeth. This is something your veterinarian should do. Feeding your rabbit foods like hay can help. The chewing action can help wear the teeth down.
