📢 A FOREVER HOME NEEDED 📢
Say hi to Maxine! A super friendly and easy-going Pittie. Age is undetermined, however we believe a year old or less. All vaccines are up to date. Loves all people, gentle when meeting new people. Her favorite activities are playing with other dogs or cuddling with people. Loves food (do keep an eye on her around the kitchen, trash, etc.). Very playful, likes toys but is more interested in having another dog to run around and wrestle with, and also does well with cats. She is about 95% potty trained and holds it well at night in her kennel. If interested, call us at 505-298-6761 during office hours, and ask for our Practice Manager.

We will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, November 28. Regular business hours resume Friday, November 29. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Juan Tabo Animal Clinic! 🦃

Why are PHPs so important? Our pets may not be able to articulate their discomfort or illnesses, which makes it crucial for us to take proactive measures to detect potential health issues early. Both dogs and cats possess a remarkable ability to conceal their pain and discomfort until it becomes overwhelming. Preventative Healthcare Panels are the cornerstone of pet healthcare, enabling our veterinarians to diagnose and address problems before they escalate into more serious (and sometimes painful) conditions. Investing in PHPs ensures your pet's quality of life and potentially saves on extensive medical bills.

SAVE $50 in the month of November ('24) by booking an Orchiectomy/Castration, commonly known as neutering in male pets.

Here are a few reasons to consider having your pet neutered:
• Less common to develop prostate cancer
• Prevents testicular cancer, if done before six months of age
• Inappropriate urination
• Aggressive tendencies
• Prevents overpopulation in your community

A handful of openings are still available! SAVE $50 in the month of October (’24) by booking an Ovariohysterectomy (OVH), commonly known as a spay in female pets.
Here are a few reasons to consider having your pet spayed:
• Vastly decreased chance for development of mammary (breast) cancer
• Eliminates the chance of developing a pyometra (infection of the uterus)
• Eradicates unwanted estrous behavior and associated bleeding
• Eliminates unwanted pregnancies and risks of dystocia (difficult birth)
